Role Overview

We are currently recruiting for a Graduate Quantity Surveyor to join our passionate and driven team based at our Office in Edinburgh

Responsible for the timely progression of client Quotes and queries relating to quotes as per NEC4 in order to progress the workload.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensuring agreed timescales for the quote process are met.
• Ensuring that the correct documentation and process procedures are compiled & followed.
• Producing and maintaining quote packs for submission to clients.
• Pricing and producing client application / invoices in line with billing timetable.
• Working proactively to reduce current level and ageing of delegated contract’s outstanding quotes.
• Chasing supplier invoices when required to ensure timeous invoicing.
• Accurate Updating of Concept System & Smartsheet: LOC codes/Cost Code/status checking/amend.
• Assisting with the NPPV Vetting procedure.
• Any other duties as and when required that are commensurate to the role
• Confident workings within Microsoft Excel.

About You:

• Applicants must have the right to work in the UK
• Graduate Quantity Surveyor
• Strong IT skills including Microsoft Excel, Smartsheet & CAFM System.
• Ability to work using own initiative or as part of the wider FM team.
• Computer literate, experience in Excel & Finance systems essential
• Diligent, numerate with excellent attention to detail
• Ability to prioritise and organise own work whilst working on a variety of tasks
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
