Exciting opportunity for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our successful Structures division. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a range of prestigious structures projects. You will manage all commercial activities on a range of schemes and oversee the change control process and ensure contractual and commercial risk opportunities are identified. This is a permanent, full time position based in Sevenoaks, Kent.
The duties of the Quantity Surveyor role will include:
-Performing risk, value management and cost control activities to benefit the contract
-Leading and driving the procurement strategy including cost value analysis and procurement of sub-contractors
-Maintaining awareness of different contracts in current use, ensuring all current legislations and document control is adhered to
-Monitoring and reporting forecast against cost and value and the management of cashflow
-Preparing forecasting of profit and loss reports for the Management Team to review monthly
-Analysing cost trends and identify cost savings in support of the contract
What skills and experience do you need?
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Quantity Surveyor with previous experience working in the construction or highways industry. You will have experience in scheduling rates, term service contracts, construction methods and managing subcontracts and procurement. You will have a degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent and you will have excellent knowledge NEC contracts. A CSCS card and driving license is essential for this role.
